A man is receiving treatment after he was stabbed last night in Belize City. 37-year-old Jamil Scott was leaving his workplace on Antelope Street Extension when the security supervisor was attacked by two men. One of the assailants stabbed Scott and took away his knapsack, which had a handheld radio and some documents for the company he works for. The assailants then ran off onto Pitter Street to hop into their getaway vehicle. However, a police mobile was in the area and again the assailants tried to run off. Eventually, police detained the two assailants and a third person. They are 19-year-old Anderson Trapp, a construction worker of the Boom Junction area; 22-year-old Tyreke Garnett, a security guard of Lord’s Bank; and 27-year-old Aaron Flowers, a resident of Antelope Street Extension. The three men are detained and police have impounded the SUV. They also recovered the stolen knapsack. Scott is listed in a stable condition.
