On Monday, Senators debated the appointment of Dorothy Bradley as the Auditor General for two years. Bradley retired from the post last year and the position was vacant for many months as no successor was named because, according to the Government, no succession plan was left by the UDP Government. But Bradley’s reappointment did not come with controversy. Days before the matter went before the House of Representatives, the President of the PSU, Dean Flowers, revealed that staffers at the Auditor-General’s office were reportedly victimized. These issues were raised by senators yesterday.
