Senior Superintendent Ramirez Loses Battle to Diabetes

Senior Superintendent Andrew Ramirez has lost his fight to diabetes.  The 54-year-old, career officer was looking forward to retirement this year, but had taken ill and hospitalized.  He has served as commanding officer at several formations across the country, and has always been regarded as a profession law-enforcement officer.  At the time of his passing, he was attached to the Ministry of Home Affairs as the Liaison Officer.
