In other political news: Moses “Shyne” Barrow was appointed Leader of the Opposition a month ago and he now believes that he is being targeted by the PUP government. Barrow says that the government is seeking to disqualify him from being elected to the National Assembly by passing the Eleventh Amendment to the Belize Constitution. The amendment prohibits someone who has been convicted and served more than twelve months in jail from being elected to the National Assembly. Barrow has expressed his discontent with the amendment and he took that discontent to Revolt TV where he was interviewed by his former boss, Sean “Diddy” Combs.
As for that Amendment, consultations are still taking place.
