Social Security Board Donated Over $110,000 to Schools, Medical Aid, and Sports in 2024

The Social Security Board (SSB) has reported that for the last quarter of 2024 they have donated more than 110 thousand dollars to various sectors.  The SSB says it has given some eleven thousand dollars to school projects while they have donated in excess of seventy six thousand dollars in medical donations.  In the area of community events, the SSB reportedly donated close to twenty one thousand dollars and in the area of sports they have donated more than eight thousand dollars.  The SSB notes that these financial donations were derived from its surplus from the Board’s Investment Fund under the Social Development Assistance Grants.
