Social Security Board Voices Confidence in New Chairperson’s Leadership

The Social Security Board (SSB) has issued a statement of confidence in the leadership of their new Chairperson, Chandra Nisbet Cansino. In welcoming Nisbet Cansino, the Management and Staff of the SSB highlighted her extensive track record in senior management and leadership within the public service. They stated her wealth of experience comes at a pivotal time for the organization as it focuses on enhancing services for insured people, employers, and the wider community. The SSB expressed confidence that Nisbet Cansino’s guidance and vision will be instrumental in strengthening policies, improving internal systems, and ensuring the continued sustainability and efficiency of Belize’s social security programs.
