Sparse Turnout as Expected Protest Fails to Materialize

The anticipation of a massive protest outside the National Assembly was diminished when the media learned that the opposition would be a no-show and that unions were not coming out in full force.  The People’s United Party, however, did bus in some supporters which the PUP Chairman, Henry Usher, said was to show support for the OSH Bill.  With just a handful of protestors on the Independence Hill, the police officers on standby did not have to face any insurgence or breach.  We join correspondent LJay Wade for a report.
