Special Prosecutor Appointed for Elmer Nah Triple Murder Case

The Government of Belize is spending around sixty thousand dollars for the special prosecutor who will be working the case of Elmer Nah, accused of triple murder. GOB secured the prosecutor after Director of Public Prosecutions Cheryl Lynn Vidal recused herself for having a connection to the accused since Nah is the nephew of her estranged husband Marco Vidal. Minister of Home Affairs Kareem Musa explained this week how the prosecutor will be paid.

Nah is accused of the murder of Jon, David, and Vivian Ramnarace on New Year’s Eve. Jon and David died on the spot, while Vivian died some fifteen days late.
