SQ Stars Girls’ Volleyball Team Takes Second Place in Copa Cancun Junior Volleyball 2023 Competition

The SQ Stars girls’ volleyball team placed second in the Under 16 Copa Cancun Junior Volleyball 2023 competition held in Mexico. The team played its first game on Thursday, August third, and won every game on their way to the Championship game on Sunday, where they lost to Peru. Head Coach for the SQ Starts Sherlene Johnson said that she is satisfied with the team’s placement, because of how hard they played to secure their spot.

Johnson said that the team is continually training to be ready for whatever tournament they will face next.
