Twenty-eight-year-old Starling Perez is today a convicted murderer. He was found guilty of the 2019 murder of forty-eight-year-old Carlos Reyes. On March 28, Reyes was in Dangriga Town when he was visited by Perez and another man. While Reyes was making lobster traps, Perez pulled out a firearm and began shooting at Reyes who was shot eight times and died on the spot. Yesterday, Supreme Court Justice Antoinette Moore found Perez guilty of murder. He was represented by Attorney Arthur Saldivar.
