Still no arrest in the fatal shooting of Dyandre Chee

It’s been almost three days since 19-year-old Dyandre Chee was shot and killed by a police officer in an alleged shootout, and charges are yet to be levied. Chee’s death has sparked much controversy and an anti-police sentiment in his hometown of Orange Walk. His family is demanding justice and says that the father of one was unjustly killed. The Commissioner of Police, Chester Williams, has since launched a criminal and internal investigation, but so far there is no indication of what charges the officers, who remain detained, are facing. A postmortem examination was conducted today on Chee’s body, which revealed that he died from internal bleeding due to injuries to his arteries and liver
