Investigators continue to probe into the gruesome murder of 26-year-old Alburn Rivero. On Friday morning, Rivero’s dead body was found on the Old Well Road in Lords Bank Village. The Lords Bank villager was chopped to death and found by a resident of the area who alerted the police. According to Assistant Superintendent of Police, Fitzroy Yearwood, police have yet to identify a motive or any suspects in the brutal murder.

ASP. Fitzroy Yearwood, Police Department Press Officer:  “So far they have questioned several persons but no arrest has been made as yet but hopefully our investigators are following some leads that they believe would lead to some form of detention and probably even an arrest. So we are allowing them time to do their investigation.”

Reporter: Have they been able to ascertain whether Mr.Rivero had problems in the village or anything like that ?

ASP. Fitzroy Yearwood, Police Department Press Officer: “Like I said we’re trying to follow several leads and as soon as we know you will know.”
