Still no sight of Chris Sosa and Kyle Latchman; their families are holding onto hope

Tonight, two Belize City families remain hopeful that their missing loved ones will be found. The families, though hoping for the best, are ready to accept the possibility that their loved ones have been killed. Two months ago, 29-year-old Christopher Sosa and 23-year-old Kyle Latchman, whose father was murdered a day before his disappearance, vanished from Belize City without a trace. Since then, the families of both men have been searching for their bodies across the Belize District. And, over the weekend, Latchman’s family received a tip stating that his body was dumped in the Port of Belize area. Police Press Officer, ASP Fitzroy Yearwood, explained to the media that the police did not receive that piece of information but are continuing to search for both men.

ASP Fitzroy Yearwood, Police Department, Press Officer:  “We haven’t given up on the search for them. Our officers go out there and they still try to comb the area that we believe would be used for the disposal of bodies but we try to ask people fi you have any information you don’t have to call 9-2-2 or 9-1-1 you could go and use the P3 app and I am certain it’s a better way of securing your information and you might even get a reward at the end of the investigation into your tip.”
