A white 2019 Toyota Hilux that was stolen in Belize in 2021 has been recovered in Guatemala. According to investigators, the pick-up was recovered in La Estancia Village. The pick-up was voluntarily delivered by a sixty-five-year-old citizen, who stated that he had purchased the vehicle on June 15 for two hundred and five thousand Quetzals. He handed over the vehicle to the authorities since he suspected that it was stolen. This is not the first pick-up truck to be stolen. Over the year Guatemalan bandits have been illegally crossing to this side of the border and robbing residents of their property including vehicles.
