Reports of that incident say that the robbers entered the grocery store and demanded money. Love News spoke to the Village Chairman, Augustin Choc.
Augustine Choc, Chairman, San Roman Village: “I received a call from police officers about the robbery that occurred at the family shopping center at 7:42 on Tuesday 16 February 2021. I am asking the police mobile to patrol in the village in the evening for a start. No jobs, no money so that’s why people they are doing this. Some people tell me they are coming from Santa Cruz. What I would really need because I need the police to do a patrol every day so like that then the crime or the robberies can stop.”
Police are yet to issue any official reports on these two incidents.
