Suspected drug plane buried

Orange Walk police have in custody three men including a Mennonite in relation to a twin-jet engine that landed early Sunday Morning at south end of Shipyard Village in the Orange Walk District. The owner of the excavator and two others including a Mennonite have been detained for questioning. Commissioner of Police Chester Williams in this morning’s Press conference said they were tracking the jet. DRUG PLANE 1 IN OUT At the scene police found an excavator, a bulldozer and a tractor which was used to bury the jet. Commissioner Williams says at this point they are trying to ascertain who is the owner of the land in which the jet landed and the owner or owners of the heavy equipment. DRUG PLANE 2 IN OUT Police believe that after the jet landed, it was dragged to where it was found but was dismantled before it was buried. Police also believe that the hole where the jet was buried had been prepared before the jet landed. Commissioner Williams say they believe the drug is no longer in the country. It is expected that these three men that are in police custody can actually shed some light into the investigation./////
