Taiwan Donates $100K to Belize for Disaster Recovery Efforts

In related news, the government of the Republic of China (Taiwan) has contributed one hundred thousand dollars to Belize for recovery efforts.  A symbolic handing over took place this week with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and NEMO receiving the donation on behalf of the government.  The Taiwanese Government says the donation was made to enable the national administration to procure essential resources such as seeds, seedlings, and other vital supplies. Minister of Foreign Affairs, Francis Fonseca, expressed gratitude for the assistance and says that it is a testament to the strong and enduring ties of friendship and cooperation between both nations.
