Taiwan Gives Belize $200K for Rebuilding after Hurricane Earl

The Government of Taipei has reached out to Belize Government as the works to rebuild and repair continue after Hurricane Earl caused hundreds of thousands of dollars in damages to homes, structures, agriculture and infrastructure.  The one hundred thousand US dollars donation was given to aid in the relief efforts in the affected areas to help residents re-establish some normalcy.  The Embassy of the Republic of China on Taiwan headed by Ambassador Benjamin Ho, extended sympathy and regards to Belize from its head office whilst committing to aid in the aftermath of Earl.  According to an article in Focus Taiwan publication, Prime Minister Dean Barrow has asked the international community to help his country in its reconstruction efforts.
