Taiwan Navy Goodwill Fleet Makes Historic Return to Belize

Belize’s long-standing diplomatic ties with Taiwan were on full display this morning, as the Republic of China Navy’s goodwill fleet made a historic return to local shores.  The 2026 Midshipmen Cruising and Training Squadron wrapped up its regional tour in Belize, marking its first visit in more than a decade, and reinforcing over thirty-seven years of alliance between the two countries.  We take you to Memorial Park, where officials highlighted the significance of the visit and the continued collaboration between Belize and Taiwan’s military forces.
