A vehicle belonging to former Police press officer, Inspector Fitzroy Yearwood was shot yesterday afternoon.  ASP Alejandro Cowo updated the media on the incident.

ASP Alejandro Cowo – Head of CIB: “Mr. Fitzroy Yearwood, Police officer, reported that he was driving his Mazda Tribute on Yabra Rd. and upon reaching an area by the bridge he heard a loud bang then he realized that Gypsy window of his Mazda Tribute was shattered. Police went and checked in the area however no shells was found there. The vehicle was processed and indeed he had what appeared to be a bullet hole.”

While there were rumors that Yearwood’s vehicle was shot at by elements within the Police department, ASP’s Cowo said there was no evidence that was indeed the case, however, investigations are ongoing.
