Tavernes Football Club from Spain Conducts Clinics to Develop Football in Belize

A contingent from Tavernes Football Club (TFC) in Spain, is in Belize to conduct a series of clinics to assist with the development of football in Belize. The contingent came through a collaboration with the National Sports Council of Belize and the Football Federation of Belize. All parties involved held a press conference at the Marion Jones Sporting Complex today, where National Sports Council Director Iris Centeno, explained her plans to use the partnership to effect positive change in Belize.

Gemma Ibarra, Captain of TFC also shared the plan for the team’s visit and her impressions of Belize.

The contingent includes Head Coach of TFC Tomas Moreno, Assistant Coach Jonathan Garcia, and Rebeca Lopez a captain and player for the team.
