Team Belize Climbs Ranks in Central American Volleyball Championships
After an initial loss on day one of the 22nd Central American senior men’s volleyball championships, team Belize has gone on to win their next two games to climb to the top of the ranks. The team played on Tuesday night, beating Honduras three to one in the final game of day three of the competition. Belize took the first set 25-16, and the second set, 25-18 before losing the third set 25-23. Honduras had a difficult time in the fourth set, making as many as 32 errors which led to Belize’s 25-14 win. The team had come back from a two-nil deficit on Monday night to snatch the victory away from Panama. The team has a rest day today and will play against Guatemala on Thursday, Costa Rica on Friday, and Nicaragua on Saturday.
