Team Belize makes a comeback in 2023 Central American Men’s Volleyball Championship

Team Belize made an epic comeback last night to win its second game in the 2023 Central American Men’s Volleyball Championship. The team played against Panama last night and lost the first two sets. With the odds against them, the team then won the next three consecutive sets closing out the night. Panama led the sets in attacks 59-52, while Belize dominated in blocking 14-12 and serves 8-4. Belize’s star player for the game was Ernest Broaster with 20 points, 14 attacks, 3 blocks and 3 serves. Their victory comes after losing to El Salvador in their first game on Sunday. The team takes on Honduras tonight at the Belize Civic Center in the final game of Day 3.
