Teenager attacked and stabbed while head to the store

A fourteen-year-old minor was stabbed on Friday night, a stone’s throw from his home. According to police, James Nunez Jr. was heading to a store on M&M Street when he was attacked and stabbed by a man known to him. The minor’s father, 32-year-old James Nunez Sr., was then informed that his son had been rushed to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital. The student sustained stab wounds to the center of his chest and to his hand. He received treatment and remains in stable condition, however, an x-ray will be conducted to determine the extent of his injuries. Police visited the home of the minor’s attacker, a resident of Holy Emmanuel Street, but he was not there. Police investigations continue.
