Teenager goes on remand for slapping his mother

A teenager is at the Belize Central Prison after slapping his mother who refused to give him money to buy bread.  18-year-old Jordan Lamb of Belize City went before Senior Magistrate Tricia Pitts-Anderson yesterday and pleaded guilty to a common assault upon his mother. 

A teenager is at the Belize Central Prison after slapping his mother who refused to give him money to buy bread.  18-year-old Jordan Lamb of Belize City went before Senior Magistrate Tricia Pitts-Anderson yesterday and pleaded guilty to a common assault upon his mother.  Love News understands that the magistrate gave him a one-week custodial sentence for him to think about his actions.  He is expected to return to court on Monday, May 18.  Reports are that Lamb has a tendency of being violent towards his mother when she refuses to give him money.
