Teens Face Drug Charges in Cayo District: Arrest Made Following House Raid

Two teenagers are to be arraigned on drug charges following a house search in Esperanza Village, Cayo District.  Phillip Ku and Zaldon Thompson, both 19-years-old, were arrested following a police raid at Ku’s home.  The search yielded two transparent plastic bags containing 15 grams of cannabis; one transparent plastic container carrying seven pieces of crack cocaine.  Police also found three 16-gauge rounds of ammunition and a home-made shotgun adopted to hold 12-gauge cartridges.  Both teenagers were charged with two counts of possessing controlled drugs, kept prohibited firearm and kept ammunition without having a gun license.
