Today, 26-year-old Tevin James Cacho appeared before Senior Magistrate Trecia Pitts-Anderson where he was arraigned on a charge of “possession of controlled drug”. Cacho informed the court that he was pleading guilty with an explanation. As a result, Senior Magistrate Pitts-Anderson entered an unequivocal not guilty plea. Earlier today, Cacho was found in possession of 51 grams of cannabis at a residence on Jones Street in Belize City. Senior Magistrate Pitts-Anderson offered Cacho bail in the sum of one thousand five hundred dollars plus one surety. The case was adjourned to January 17, 2020.
