The Garifuna Kids are back in Belize
Black History month comes to an end tomorrow in the United States but here in Belize, the work to preserve African culture is a non-stop effort all year round. The musicians are now back in the country to reestablish musical ties and honor the Garifuna culture. Vejea Alvarez tells us more about the band’s resurgence in the 21st century.
