The recent data coming out of the Ministry of Health, the lab conducted 193 tests yesterday of which thirty four new cases were identified. Nine cases are from the Corozal District with seven in Corozal Town, one in Consejo and one in San Andres; fifteen are from Orange Walk District with 3 in Orange Walk Town, 3 in Trinidad, 1 in San Pablo, 1 in San Jose, 1 in Nuevo San Juan, 1 in Chan Pine Ridge, 1 in Guinea Grass, 1 in San Luis, 1 in San Lazaro, 1 in San Roman in Corozal but identified in Orange Walk and 2 from Hiccattee Creek in Toledo but identified in Orange Walk; 7 cases are Belize District with two in Belize City, 3 in San Pedro, one in Caye Caulker and one from Unitedville identified at KHMH; one case in San Jose Succotz in Cayo; one in Independence Village in Stann Creek; and one from Cayo that was identified in Toledo. One a more positive note, there are 37 newly recovered cases. The rate of current active cases stands at 38.5% of the total identified positive cases.
