The Leader of the Opposition Moises “Shyne” Barrow has received an Honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters from the University of Liberia. The Area Representative for Mesopotamia was awarded the title for his work as a Humanitarian, Musician, and Legislator. Barrow was in Liberia to give the commencement speech at the university’s graduation exercise and spoke about the importance of education.
Notably, Liberia was founded by Africans who escaped the clutches of slavery and fled the United States to form their own Nation as free human beings.
