The Mexico Sports Center’s roofing damaged by Hurricane Lisa

The Mexico Sports Center will be closed for over a month due to damage to its infrastructure caused by Hurricane Lisa. The storm, which battered the Belize District, brought heavy rains and strong winds which led to many roofs being blown away. The sporting complex was among those buildings that were affected by the category one hurricane. Director of the National Sports Council, Ian Cal, says the roof of the building was damaged and needs repairs.
