The National Agriculture and Trade Show Makes a Return

After a Covid-19 hiatus in 2020 and 2021, the National Agriculture and Trade Show (NATS) will resume come May 2022. The announcement was made today via a press release from the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security and Enterprise. According to the release, the event will be held on May 27, 28 and 29 under the theme, “Innovations in technology: Driving a Climate Resilient and Competitive Agriculture and Food Sector”. The Ministry of Agriculture noted that the showgrounds are currently being prepared and the sale of concessionary stands, food stalls and commercial booths has already begun. The release says, quote, “Right of first refusal will be granted to 2019 lease holders and as such those vendors will have until April 8, 2022, to confirm their desire to re-establish their booth leases by contacting NATS Headquarters. This preference exists EXCEPT where there was a reconfiguration of the grounds and/or removal of booths, in which case that space is no longer available for rental.” For the new vendors, consideration for them will begin on April 11 at which time they can go to the NATS office to select their location. Vendors with down payments will have until May 13, 2022, to complete their payments after which that deposit becomes non-refundable.
