The Government and people of the Republic of China (Taiwan) have donated twenty thousand dollars to the Area Representative of Caribbean Shores, Kareem Musa. The funds will be used for the ongoing effort to assist persons in his constituency who are still reeling from the effects of Hurricane Lisa. The disaster relief funds were handed over to Musa today at his office in Caribbean Shores. He says that the assistance will greatly aid those in his constituency that were affected by the storm.

Taiwanese Ambassador to Belize, David Kuan Chou-Chien, says that the donation is a symbol of his government’s commitment to aid the Belizean people, particularly in their time of need.
