The residents of Santa Elena Town will soon have access to a new beach football and volleyball pitch. A groundbreaking ceremony for the project was held on Monday morning at the proposed location near the bank of the Macal River in Santa Elena Town. Cayo Correspondent Eliu Yacab spoke to the Mayor of the Twin Towns, Earl Trapp about the initiative.
Councilor Omar Rodriguez also commented on the project and says that the pitch will be used for the council’s upcoming Easter river bash.
The field is expected to be completed in the next two weeks.
