The Senate Special Select Committee convened once more in the chamber of the National Assembly Building in Belmopan, Cayo District to continue to question the Auditor General Dorothy Bradley as it relates to the Auditor General’s report on visas as well as other findings in the Immigration and Nationality Departments for period 2011-2013. Bradley who was accompanied by her attorneys, Derek Courtenay and Phillip Palacio, was aided by the Supervisor of the Audit Department Carla Faber. Today the committee focused on establishing what the proper process to issue a visa is.
Chairman of the Committee, Senator Aldo Salazar, told the media that the hearing has been going as expected.
We are told that the Committee is scheduled to meet again on January 4 and every Wednesday thereafter.
