Thousands of Dollars’ Worth of Equipment Stolen from Construction Company

The public is being advised to be on the lookout for stolen construction supplies. According to police, a red forty-foot storage container on Maurice Bishop Street, Belize City was burglarized last week. The container belongs to Kevin Ayuso’s construction company and contained over ten thousand Belize dollars’ worth of equipment. ASP Fitzroy Yearwood, explains that the perpetrators were able to bypass the locks on the door and enter the property. He explains further.

ASP.Fitzroy Yearwood, Public Relations, Belize Police Department: “We received a report from Kevin _____ a 36-year-old businessman of a Morris Bishop Street address Belama Phase 2 where he reported that sometime between the hours of 6 PM on Thursday the 15th December and 6 PM on Friday a red container 40-foot container was burglarized at his residence. This is a storage container and stolen from that container are three generators, two Mueller Brand and one Redzen Straton brand, one pressure washer, a Makita grinder and two Makita drills, four DeWalt drills, one air compressor and a hammer drill. I would just like to alert the public, especially these pawn shops to be on the lookout for these stuff.”
