Three Injured in Road Traffic Incident on Philip Goldson Highway

Three people were injured today in a road traffic incident on the Philip Goldson Highway. Reports are that Emmanuel Vellos was driving his Toyota Tacoma Pickup truck towards Belize City sometime after three o’clock when he drove into the lane of an incoming Freightliner truck. Vellos crashed into the front driver’s side of the truck, and his pickup overturned injuring him and his two passengers. They were all taken to the Northern Regional Hospital via ambulance. The Freightliner was being driven at the time by Corozal resident Edward Loza.
