Three persons were injured in road traffic today in Western Belize. Cayo Correspondent Fem Cruz has the story.

Three persons were injured in road traffic today in Western Belize. Cayo Correspondent Fem Cruz has the story.

Fem Cruz, Cayo Correspondent: A head-on collision between two motorcycles left three persons hospitalized at the Western Regional Hospital in Belmopan. According to one of the motorcycle drivers, 21 year old Henry Freizen of Spanish Lookout Cayo District, sometime around 7:30 last night he and his wife were on their way from Spanish Lookout to Duck Run 3 when the unexpected happened. 20 year old Felix Perez, the other motorcycle driver from Duck Run 3 spoke to Love News about his side of the story.

Felix, Perez, Motorcycle Driver: “I was driving from Buena Vista Village to my way home that is in Duck Run 3. I was riding on the way and I was already reaching by the junction that I have to get in to reach my home and there was a Mennonite boy that was coming on a motorcycle too with his wife and I was riding my way and he was oncoming and talking with his wife on his bike and not looking to the front at where he was riding and he was on my side and I saw that they were coming on my side and I tried to avoid hitting the motorcycle but we collided.”

Felix, Perez, Motorcycle Driver:  “My right foot is broken, my right hand and some scrapes on my other hand.”
