The trial for Lev Dermen continued today in the US District Court.  According to the Salt Lake Tribune, opening arguments were to being this afternoon but there was a delay in jury selection from a pool of more than thirty potential jurors.  Belize watches with curiosity and intrigue to see if and when the name of the government official that was reportedly bribed by Dermen will be mentioned.  The Dermen trial goes deep in several cities and states including Utah where a former attorney general has been named as accepting bribery from the oil scheme that Dermen and Jacob Kingston spearheaded.  Dermen has pleaded not guilty to ten counts, including money laundering and mail fraud.  His attorney, Mark Geragos, a well-known defender will argue that Dermen was misled by Kingston and his family who are slated to testify against Dermen.  The trial continues tomorrow and is scheduled to end around mid-March.
