Traffic accident leaves man unconscious

A traffic incident on the Hawksworth Bridge in San Ignacio Town, Cayo District has left one person in an unconscious state. The media learnt more about this incident at today’s press brief.

ACP Joseph Myvette: “Initial Investigation revealed that one Rowell Roches of Ontario Village was traveling eastbound across the Hawksworth bridge when he seemingly lost control of the motor bike and crashed into the wall of the Highway superstore which was on the other side of the bridge causing him to go unconscious. He has since been transported the KHMH where he still remains in an unconscious state.”

The incident occurred last Friday. Today, police conducted a search in a drain located at the corner of Oleander Street and Rose Lane in Belize City.  There, they discovered a 9mm pistol Ruger brand, with a black magazine.  At the time of the search, no one was in the area and the firearm was labeled and deposited as found property.
