Traffic Blocks Expected on Haulover Bridge Due to Replacement Project

The Ministry of Infrastructure Development & Housing (MIDH) is advising the public that the Haulover Bride will be experiencing traffic blocks. The bridge is located up north on the Philip Goldson highway, was built in nineteen forty-seven, and is currently under a replacement project. M&M Engineering Consultants Limited has declared that seven, one hundred- and forty-feet long bridge beams will be transported to the bridge’s location over the course of six days between Saturday, 17th, and Thursday, 22nd June 2023. Aligning the beams will take up the entire width of the highway, causing traffic disruptions. Drivers have been warned and asked to always follow traffic warnings and the instructions of escorts.
