Tragedy Strikes Roaring Creek Village: Four Residents Killed in Saturday’s Road Incident
Tonight, several families are grieving following Saturday’s road traffic incident that killed four residents of Roaring Creek Village, Cayo district. The men had concluded a day of construction work in Dangriga, and were home-bound in a Chevy Silverado truck when the driver lost control. Reporter Vejea Alvarez has the story.
The five surviving passengers are 35-year-old, Elias Orellana who received a fractured right let; 50-year-old, Darren Gilharry who suffered abrasions to the right arm; 34-year-old, Gilbert Myers who complained of body pains; 30-year-old, Johnny Sedacey had abrasions to the left arm, leg, and ribs, and 15-year-old, Nabil Reyes suffered a severe head injury and remains hospitalized at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital (KHMH).
