Tragic Drowning of Minor in Blue Creek Village Raises Questions of Negligence

Over the weekend, a minor drowned while swimming in Blue Creek Village. Around four o’clock, persons swimming near the Blue Creek Dam reportedly felt something bumping into their feet and discovered a four-year-old submerged underwater. The little girl was then retrieved from the river by a man who made attempts to resuscitate her but failed. An eye witness spoke to Love News and says that the minor was reportedly left unsupervised and explained that her parents were nowhere to be found when she was fished from the murky waters.

Police investigations into the matter continue.
