Travelers Liquors Joins CARICOM 50th Anniversary Rum Blend Initiative

Travelers Liquors will join several other rum producers in the Caribbean in creating a special blend in commemoration of CARICOM’s 50th anniversary.  The rum producers are all attached to the West Indies Rum and Spirits Producers Association (WIRSPA).  Love News understands that special ceremonies are being planned where the exclusively branded blend of rum will be handed over to the government of each respective participating country.  The other twelve participating distillers are from Barbados, Guyana, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago, St Lucia, Dominica, Grenada, Bahamas, Jamaica, St Vincent and the Grenadines, and Antigua.  Following the special handing over, the special rum blends will be showcased in the region and will be distributed to CARICOM States for marketing.  It is to be noted that several of these special blends will unique and limited.
