Tribute to Andy Palacio held in Barranco to mark the icon’s birthday

Activities were held in Barranco Village, Toledo this weekend in memory of musical and cultural icon, Andy Palacio. Known for hits such as “Ereba” “Samina Humei” and “Wátina”, Palacio died in 2008 but each year, events are held in his honour on his birthday, December 2. Senior Correspondent, Paul Mahung reports on this year’s tribute in the legend’s home village.
