Three Flowers Bank residents were at the Magistrate’s Court today to answer to a single charge of handling stolen goods.  The trio allegedly stole a motorcycle from Bermudian Landing and took it to Flowers Bank yesterday. Police investigation led to a search being done at the home of Norville Flowers in Flowers Bank where they located the stolen motorcycle that was being hidden in a pig pit.  As a result, Flowers along with two other persons who were at the house were detained. 23-year-old Kirlin Loy, and 23-year-old Marlon Mangar, were charged jointly with one count each of handling stolen goods. The trio appeared this morning before Magistrate Emmerson Banner. Allegations are that they were all found in possession of a black Meilun motorcycle that belonged to Elin Perdomo valued at $1,100. In court the men were unrepresented and they all pleaded not guilty to the charge. Magistrate Banner offered them bail in the sum of $2,000 plus one surety of the same amount. The court record shows that Mangar was in debted to the court in the sum of $730.00 so Magistrate Banner ordered him to pay $350.00 of his old bill and the balance he must pay at a specified date. Flowers and Loy were able to meet bail by 12 noon today while Mangar remains in custody until he can pay his debt.  The next court date for the trio is set for March 5.
