Two are to be charged in Silk Grass stabbing

Two persons are detained following a stabbing incident in southern Belize. Love News understands that the incident happened early yesterday morning. We are being informed that 42-year-old Orvin Palacio was in his yard in Silk Grass Village, Stann Creek, doing some mechanical work when he was approached by two men. One of the men walked into the yard, accusing Palacio of owing him something and then stabbed Palacio. Palacio and the man struggled but Palacio managed to wrest away the knife and ran off. The two men, one dark-skinned and the other of Hispanic descent drove off. Police managed to recover the knife that was used in this case and two people are detained.
