Two Belmopan Men Missing, Family Seeks Public Assistance After Vehicle Found Abandoned

Two Belmopan residents are missing, and their families are asking for the public’s assistance in finding them. Thirty-seven-year-old Marvin Cante of Salvapan and 32-year-old Juan Raymundo of Maya Mopan have not been seen or heard from since Wednesday. Elmer Cante, Marvin’s brother and Juan’s cousin, says he last spoke to the men on Wednesday via WhatsApp. However, at some point, they stopped responding to his messages. Elmer explained that he knew the men had left in a rental vehicle, but no one knew where they were headed. The family became even more worries when the vehicle was found abandoned near Mile 24 on the George Price Highway.

Elmer says the family has conducted searches in the area and neighboring villages but has not found any leads. They have since filed an official missing person’s report with the police. Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Marvin Cante and Juan Raymundo is urged to contact Elmer Cante at 634-0114 or report it to the police by calling 911, 922, or the nearest police station.
