Two Decades of Impact: Medical Group Provides Critical Care to Belizeans

Each year, dozens of medical groups arrive in the country to provide advanced and tertiary medical care services to Belizeans, often free of charge. The groups often provide medical procedures not unavailable in the country, so the opportunity to undergo surgery is often life-changing for many. Reporter Vejea Alvarez tells us how one set of do-gooders has been positively impacting Belizeans for the last twenty years.

The medical team will be in the villages of San Joaquin, Sarteneja, Patchakan, San Victor, Chunox, and other rural areas in the north.  All consultations, and surgeries are done free of cost.
