Two Injured in Ladyville Collision: SUV Hits Cyclists, Driver Faces Prosecution

A man and a woman were injured this morning after the cycle they were on was hit by a blue Jeep SUV.  At around ten o’clock this morning, 28-year-old, Fiona Andrews and 32-year-old, Edwardo Salas were on the cycle heading north towards Ladyville when the SUV pulled out of the Sky Supermarket’s parking lot, and hit the cycle.  Andrews was flung to the pavement where she was in and out of consciousness, and was taken to the hospital via BERT ambulance.  The driver of the Jeep, 29-year-old, Alexia Bennett, has since been served with a notice of intended prosecution.
